Psychologist (PhD, PsyD; full-time)

Bold Psych is seeking psychologists to provide telehealth therapy for adults in Massachusetts.

Bold Psych is a telehealth-only private practice based in Cambridge, MA. We focus on helping high achievers who struggle with setting boundaries, managing stressors, and determining what success is outside of others’ expectations.

Bold Psych is a group practice that has developed a reliable network of referral sources. The population we serve is high-functioning and culturally diverse. Many of our clients are university students, academics, and professionals in the Cambridge and Boston area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy and assessment services as appropriate and within the scope of one’s practice

  • Attend supervision and staff meetings

  • Complete notes on time and in accordance with legal/ethical guidelines of the profession and insurance company requirements

  • Adhere to HIPAA laws and confidentiality standards pertaining to patient information

Competencies

  • Exhibit sound clinical and professional judgment

  • Make independent decisions based on what is best for clients and the group practice

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; able to get along well with a diverse group of clients and co-workers

  • Use technological tools, such as EHR and videoconferencing platforms, adeptly

Qualifications

  • Expertise in adult anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or relational distress

  • Licensure or working towards licensure as a psychologist in the State of Massachusetts

  • Physical residence in Massachusetts

  • Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology

  • Doctoral degree and internship from APA-accredited institutions

  • Previous experience in private practice desirable but not required
